Formed in 1937, the IAS is the longest established astronomy society in Ireland.

Hosted by our society, it will be great fun and an opportunity to meet friends and fellow amateur astronomers, including members from other IFAS clubs in this very important historical setting.
Dunsink requires anyone attending to pre-book so we are all required to book through Eventbright (*link sent by email to IAS members).
The night will be organised as follows:
We will then finish off the evening with mince-pies and drinks in the Hamilton room. And if the weather allows we may even get to do some observations on the lawn and maybe even visit the Grubb telescope in the South dome – Now who would want to miss all that!
